Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church

What Our Sunday Worship Service Is Like
We are a friendly church, worshipping every Sunday at 9:00 a.m., here’s what you can expect:
-
You will be warmly greeted and will receive the day’s bulletin;
-
We use the English Standard Version Bible and Hymns from various sources;
-
We have a nursery for our youngest worshipers;
-
Our service is ordered and easy to follow;
-
Music is an important part of our worship. The congregation sings a variety of traditional and contemporary hymns during service. Our choir and chime choir are part of worship and we often have guest musicians and singers at our services.
-
We offer a Children’s Sermon at each service where children are encouraged to come to the altar for a special message;
-
We preach the Word of God;
-
We pray for those in need;
-
We take time during the service to reconnect to each other;
-
We offer Communion at every service – all baptized Christians who are repentant and believe in Christ as Savior are welcome.

What Happens After Sunday Service

For the Children
We offer a Children’s Café where our kids can get snacks and juice before heading to Sunday School. We offer Sunday School for Pre-K through 5th Grade.

For the Youth
We offer Sunday confirmation classes for our middle schoolers and a Senior High Youth (SHY) Group. We have a vibrant youth ministry. We have an involved youth committee. Our young adults like to get together to work on service projects and to share.
For the Adults
For the Fellowship
We believe in life-long learning. We have a Sunday morning Bible discussion that is led by members of the congregation.
Every Sunday we have Coffee Hour where we reconnect with our church family.
For All!
Our members get together to engage in a number of activities throughout the week, and throughout the year.
