Our Missions
"When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs." - John 21:15
Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church is committed to serving God's people: Locally, Nationally and Globally. As well as hands-on service, we donate a tithe of our collections to a variety of partners

Lutheran mission society
The Lutheran Mission Society operates nine Compassion Centers to bring health and wholeness to people through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Pastor Miller serves on the Board of Directors of the Lutheran Mission Society. With our “Winnie Wagon”, we collect canned goods and non-perishable food items every Sunday to stock the food bank at the LMS, and other local area food banks. Our members volunteer at the LMS to collect and sort donated clothing, appliances and furniture. At Christmas, we take part in the “Miracle of Christmas” program where we provide food and gifts for over 25 local families.

Orphan Grain Train
Orphan Grain Train is a Christian volunteer network that shares personal and material resources with needy people in America and around the world. Grain Train volunteers gather donations of clothing, medical supplies, food, Christian literature, and other aid to meet real needs. Our congregation has provided generous financial support to begin to build a distribution center in Millersville, Maryland. Most recently, the congregation collected bedding, towels, shoes and books for an orphanage in Liberia that is housing children orphaned by the Ebola epidemic.
