Advent Vespers Please join us for mid-week services during Advent as we focus on the meaning and purpose of prayer. Each service will begin at 6:00 pm. In conjunction with our Advent vespers, we are hosting a family activity starting at 5:15 pm. We hope you can join us! Wednesday, December 1 Pastor Mike Heuer on "Prayers of Thanksgiving" Family Activity- Making Advent Wreaths Wednesday, December 8 Pastor Mark Metze on "Prayers of Intercession" Family Activity- Making Christmas Ornaments Wednesday, December 15 Pastor Gerald Miller on "Prayers of Adoration" Family Activity- Making Christmas gift bags for Christmas Eve worship Adult Forum/Sunday School "How then shall we live?" Reading the letters of Peter in the present age. Led by Pastor Emeritus Gerald Miller November-December. Sunday school for all ages continues. Quilts for Sale The Quilters will once again be displaying quilts in the sanctuary made since September of this year. We’ll also have some items to purchase in the Fellowship Hall Foyer, table runners, smaller quilts, some AELC tote bags, etc. As in the past, the 60” by 80” quilts are available for sale at $25 each. See something you like? It’s yours. (Writing a check for the offering plate? Just put “Quilters” on the memo line. Got cash? Put it in an envelope labeled “Quilters” or give it to one of the Quilters.) The quilts will be in the sanctuary Sundays, November 28 and December 5 and 12. Men’s Bible Study Join the men’s Wednesday morning Bible study at 8:00 A.M. at the IHOP in Edgewater. There is also a Thursday Bible study in Crofton at Grumps Cafe at 7:00 A.M. Worship Worship continues Sundays at 10:00 A.M. in the sanctuary. The worship service will continue to be recorded and posted to our YouTube channel which can be accessed through our website.
